Job Description
We are regularly recruiting engineers to assist one of our clients in New York and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Under take design works on behalf of clients
- Under take design works on behalf of clients
- Undertake design checking of structural components
- Provide supervision and support of existing staff on structural elements
- Manage and co-ordinate residential and commercial construction projects
- Co-ordinate and confer with clients, engineers, architects and sub-contractors
- Administer and manage site establishment, preparation and organization
- Assist with the analysis and comprehensive study of building and site conditions for each project
- Prepare, develop and review reports for client review and approval
- Prepare logistics and sequencing planning for client projects
- Assist with construction schedule development and co-ordinate construction phases, including hiring and overseeing of subcontractors for clients
- Prepare periodic cost tracking reports per project
- Assist in the development of schematic design and plan for projects
- Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with building, health & safety codes and regulations per projects
- Attending design team meetings
- Conversing with clients and architects
- Checking drawings to compliment detailed designs
Qualifications
- Applicants should hold an engineering degree
- Applicants should have 3+ years post qualification experience
- Applicants should be Irish passport holders
